Bangkok Bars - Old Skool Bar Bangkok

Old Skool, despite its rather old hat name (how many "skools" do we really need?), is aiming for the younger market in what is often described as the Ekamai Thonglor Party Zone or ET Zone.

It appears to be owned, or at least fronted, by Mike MacDonald, a legend in his own lunchtime, or at least he likes to think he his. This is the guy who sneers at beer drinkers and people wearing sandals. Tell ya what Mikey Wikey I will visit your bar in my sandals and lets see you try to tell me to take them off! Concoctor of such blog comments as "looking like a high-end gentlemen's club complete with Victorian style furniture that is sooo suitable for our generation" - WTF Mikey, do you think your silver spoon brigade OWN Krung Thep?

I guess I could be accused of doing exactly what I am preaching against but please no more publicity for these pathetic little publicity mongers.

This idiot MacDonald actually seems to believe his own hype. Good news is he will undoubtedly soon disappear up his own arse. Check out his "web marketing company" website - he can't even fookin' spell so how the hell he can write copy is beyond me. Jumped up rich brats "playing" at being businessmen if you ask me. Thailand has enough of those already without the foreigners jumping on the bandwagon

Oh you bad boy, or girl. This is gonna be funny. These Hooray Henry types are a blight on the Bangkok nightlife. Legend in his own lunchtime is stretching a bit 555 - hes a prat and considered a big joke by most of us who live in the Ekamai area.
